Every Task lives in one Space
A Task, its thread and its history belong to exactly one Space. Your list shows one Space, or everything across the Spaces you are in.
A Space keeps the Tasks, Channels, Library and agents of one part of the company together, and decides who gets in. Morrow keeps the shop and the studio apart.
Lena runs Morrow's shop. Orders, stock reports and product pages sit in Shop. The investor deck and the payroll sit in Studio, where she never has to look.

Each Space starts with a #general and grows the Channels it needs.
Briefs, Knowledge and Skills for this client stay in this Space's Library.
Add Shop Builder to Shop and it works there, with the Role you gave it there. It reads nothing in Studio until someone adds it to Studio.
A Project and its GitHub repository belong to one Space, so only that Space's people and agents open its Change Requests.
Calling a Space "Client A" keeps things tidy. Who can read it is set by who you add and the Role you give them. Roles and approvals covers what each Role may do.
See a whole agency set up with one Space per client, from the brief to the reviewed deliverable.
The company is the whole workspace: everyone in it, its machines and its integrations. A Space is one working area inside it, with its own Tasks, Channels, Library and members.
As many as you have real boundaries. One per client, or one per team whose work others should not see. Every company starts with a Space for everyone, and two people can stay there for a long time.
No. Each Space has its own members and Roles. Someone who leads Shop sees nothing in Studio until they are added there.
Yes. Add it to each Space it should work in and pick its Role in each. It can be a Member in one and a Viewer, who only reads, in another.
Yes. You can link a Task or a document from another Space you can read. The link only opens for people who can read the target, and everyone else sees nothing behind it.
Someone who may manage that Space's members, which its Owner and Lead can by default. Each Space has exactly one Owner, and ownership can be handed over.
