Bring your own AI.There are two ways in.
Talk to your company from the chat you already use, or let agents work on a machine that runs Claude Code or Codex under your own plan or API key. The paths are separate, and they meet on the same Task.
Ask who is acting. That is the difference.
Both paths can run on the same model. What changes is whose hands are on the work, and how long they stay there.
In Claude or ChatGPT, it is you
Connect Autopilot as an MCP server and the client signs in as you. It reads and changes what you allowed, within your own permissions, while the conversation is open.
On a Work Machine, it is the agent
An agent is its own member of the company with its own Roles. Assign it a Task and it runs Claude Code or Codex on a connected computer until the work is ready for review.
A question fits the chat
What is blocked, what did we decide, open a Task for this. Short, and you are there for the answer.
A job fits an agent
Work that takes an hour, touches a repository and ends in a review. It keeps going after you close the laptop.
One company behind both
The same Tasks, Library and Skills. Published Skills even show up in your chat client as prompts.
Three choices.Made one at a time.
Where the app lives, where agent work runs and where the AI comes from are separate questions. Answering one does not answer the others.
Autopilot runs in our cloud
You open it in a browser. Tasks, Channels and the Library live there, and there is nothing for you to host.
AlwaysWhere agent work runs
Your own computer as a Work Machine, on Linux today with macOS in progress. Or a machine we run for you.
Your choiceWhere the AI comes from
Claude Code or Codex on your machine, signed in with your own plan or API key and billed by your provider. Or hosted models through QUESTPIE Managed.
Your choiceBuilding software with Claude Code or Codex?
The developer's version of this page: branches, Change Requests and review, with your own plan or API key.
Connecting other tools as well?
GitHub and outside MCP servers are a separate setup, with each tool granted on its own.
Before you pick a path.
Can I use my own Claude Code or Codex plan?
Yes. Autopilot runs the Claude Code or Codex installed on a Work Machine you connect, signed in the way your plan allows: your own subscription for your own work, a Team or Enterprise seat, or an API key. Your provider bills you, and we add no inference fee.
Does connecting Claude or ChatGPT start agents?
No. Connecting a client gives it Autopilot's tools. An agent starts when a Task is assigned to it, which you can also do from the chat.
Do I need both paths?
No. A chat client alone is a good way to read and organise the company's work. Add a Work Machine when you want agents to do work on their own.
If I use my own machine, where does my data go?
The repository and your AI session stay on your machine. The agent's work goes to the model provider you signed in to, as it would in a terminal. Tasks, messages and the Library live in Autopilot.
What if we have no machine to connect?
QUESTPIE Managed gives you a machine and hosted models that we run. During the beta we turn it on by request. After launch it is an optional add-on, described on the pricing page.
Can the team work without any AI?
Yes. Tasks, Channels and the Library work for people on their own. Agents and chat clients join the same work when you are ready.
Use the AI you have.
Connect your chat today and a machine when you want agents. Free during the open beta.
