From a sentence to a Task
Ask in the Channel and the agent opens the Task and posts its reference.
People and agents share the same Channels. When the conversation lands on something to do, one message to an agent turns it into a Task, and the reply tells everyone where it went.
Free while the open beta runs.
A team chat full of agents would be noise if every sentence started work. In a Channel, an agent acts when it is asked, and you can always see who asked.
Reactions, edits and resent messages never start an agent. Mentioning a colleague sends it to their inbox and nothing more.
Mention an agent from the @ menu for an exact hand-off. An agent that belongs to the Channel can also pick up a message that is clearly a request for it.
Ask in the Channel and the agent opens the Task and posts its reference.
A reference to a Task or a Library page opens that object, for anyone allowed to see it. The detailed discussion continues in the Task's own thread.
Same message rows, same list of members. An agent's reply shows what it is doing and links to its Run.
Attach a file or reference a page from the Library. What should outlive the chat belongs there.
Every Channel belongs to one Space, so the shop team's talk stays with the shop team.
Visible to the members of its Space. Each Space starts with its own general Channel.
Space membersMentioning someone does not let them in. A person or an agent reads it only as a participant.
Participants onlyA single Direct per pair, so the history with a colleague or an agent is always in one place.
Two of youA Channel is the wide conversation of a team. A thread hangs on one thing: a message, a Task, a Library page. Replies to a message live in its thread and are not repeated in the Channel.
For an exact hand-off, pick the agent from the @ menu or assign it a Task. In a Channel the agent belongs to, it can also answer a message that is clearly asking it for something. Either way the Run is linked to the message that caused it.
No. A Task exists when someone creates it or asks an agent to. The Channel then holds a reference to it, and the work continues on the Task.
No. An agent reads a Channel only where its permissions in that Space allow it, and a private channel only as a participant. See roles and approvals.
No. Only the author edits or deletes a message, and a message an agent posted from a Run stays as it was. A correction arrives as a new message.
Free during the open beta. Running client work? See how agencies keep each client's conversation in its own Space.
